According to senior golfer Emerson Mulcahy, the girls gold team is doing well. I interviewed Mulcahy on her thoughts on the golf season in the video below.

Q: How long have you been coaching golf?

This is my 19th year coaching girls golf overall, with the last 17 as the varsity coach.

Q: What year has been most successful and memorable?

I have been blessed with many tremendous individuals and teams over my coaching career. Our best result came in 2017, as the team finished 10th overall in the state and my top individual (Jennifer Wang) posted a 2-day total of even par 140. She finished as the runner up in the state of Ohio that season.

Q: What is your main goal for yourself this season?

My main goal this season is to continue to grow as a program. I have truly enjoyed watching the sport of girls golf blossom and increase in popularity over the past 19 years. It is rewarding to see each individual girl on the team set and achieve their own personal goals as they continue to work on their craft.
