Burger Fresh adds flavor to Solon

Burger Fresh, the new burger restaurant in Solon, is refreshingly enjoyable. Burger Fresh is located in the center of Solon, right next to Mitchell’s Ice Cream. The restaurant provides a variety of burgers, ranging from an “All American” cheeseburger to a Salmon burger. All the burgers have an option of coming with one burger (single) or two (double).

Burger Fresh has a Subway-type atmosphere, where all the toppings are laid out in front of the customers for them to decide. There are three types of buns (brioche, pretzel and whole wheat) that the customer chooses.

When I visited the restaurant, I ordered a single Bacon Cheddar Burger meal. It did not disappoint. I’m always able to single out a good burger, especially if on the first bite I get a rush of flavors. The Bacon Cheddar burger featured a quarter pound 100 percent Angus beef, two pieces of Applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese and my choice of lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and ketchup and mustard.

Upon my first bite, I could easily identify a multitude of flavors that helped enhance the burger. Not one certain ingredient was over powering, which allowed me to enjoy the burger without getting the sense that I was eating a garlic or ketchup burger.The best part about my meal, however, was definitely the fries which were cooked and salted to perfection; I bit into my first fry and found that it had a nice crisp and just enough salt.  

All in all, my meal was better than I expected. The proportions were a great size and the food was substantial. Also, pricing was average but was worth it for the greatly flavored food. The price for a single Bacon Cheddar Burger meal was $8.99 and included a regular sized soft drink. An All American Single Burger meal is $7.99.

The Burger Fresh menu also includes hot dogs, vegetarian burgers and salads. So while there are plenty of burger options, there is still a little bit of everything for everybody.

On top of the exceptional food, the employees are very amicable . Employees were willing to bear with me while I gazed over the menu and answered any questions I had about a certain burger or meal. When it came time to check-out, because of my large order, the cashier made sure that I had everything I asked for and took the time to label the burgers for me so that I would not get them mixed up when handing them to my family.

Burger Fresh is one of the best new restaurants in Solon. This new burger joint is a perfect hangout for teenagers on the weekends or after a long day at school.  Whether looking for a quick meal or looking to enjoy some time with friends, Burger Fresh will never disappoint. I can personally say that Burger Fresh is a spot worth trying.
