The varsity volleyball team has lost more games than they have won, but Senior Claire Bush is confident they can turn that around.
As of right now, their record is 1-8.
Bush gives her thoughts on the season as well as sharing personal thoughts that contribute to the team in an interview below.
Q: What are strengths you recognize within the team?
A: I feel like everyone on the team gets along well, and we work together efficiently.
Q: How long have you played volleyball for?
A: I have played rec volleyball since I was 10 years old, J.O. [Junior Olympics] volleyball since the 5th grade and volleyball for the school since the 7th grade.
Q: What is your main weakness?
A: I’d say I get frustrated easily with repetitive mistakes, but as a captain, I try my best to be a leader and stay positive.
Q: What are the team’s goals for the rest of the season?
A: To win the majority of games the rest of the season, with hopes of making it to sectionals and also having a fun season!
Q: Do you see yourself playing volleyball after this year?
A: I am not looking to play for a college team, however, I am interested in being a part of a club team or taking on a coaching position in the future.
