As the weather starts to change, Dunkin’ has brought back its fall menu. The menu consists of six pumpkin-flavored drinks, three drinks made with their new cereal milk, a new refresher and six new food items. On my recent trip to Dunkin’, I tried four drinks: The Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, the Nutty Pumpkin Iced Coffee, the Pumpkin Sugar Cookie Iced Coffee and the Cereal N’ Milk Iced Latte. I also tried their classic bakery item that returns every year: The Pumpkin Donut.
Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte
This drink is a latte with pumpkin swirl, unsweetened vanilla flavor shots, topped with whipped cream with cinnamon sugar on top. The drink tasted mostly like milk with just the smallest amount of pumpkin in it. I didn’t get much of a coffee flavor at all, which is bound to happen since a majority of the drink is milk. I don’t usually enjoy Dunkin’s lattes because they’re so milky, but this one had to be one of the worst lattes I’ve had. If you don’t like coffee much and you are looking for something sweet, I would recommend this drink. But personally, when I think of a pumpkin spice latte, I think of the pumpkin and coffee pairing perfectly together, and this drink let me down. However, I do think that without the vanilla shots, I would’ve enjoyed this more, and the drink may have been less sweet. Even though I’m an avid Dunkin’ lover, I would recommend going to Starbucks over Dunkin if you’re looking for a true pumpkin spice latte. Overall, I would rate this drink a 1/10— I’m disappointed in Dunkin with this one.
Nutty Pumpkin Iced Coffee
The Nutty Pumpkin Coffee is an iced coffee with a pumpkin swirl, unsweetened hazelnut flavor shots and creamer. This drink was my favorite out of all the ones I tried by far. The coffee flavor was strong. While the pumpkin flavor was there, it wasn’t overpowering to the point that all I was tasting was spice. If you want a drink that tastes like a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte but isn’t as expensive, I would definitely recommend trying this. I usually drink my coffee slowly, but I loved this so much that as soon as I picked up the drink, it was gone minutes later. As long as the drink is being sold, I’ll be getting it every time I go to Dunkin’. I’d rate this drink a 9.5/10.
Pumpkin Sugar Cookie Iced Coffee
This drink is an iced coffee with a pumpkin swirl, unsweetened vanilla flavor shots topped with sweet cream cold foam with cinnamon sugar on top. This drink was the perfect iced coffee color, so I had high hopes from the beginning. The first sip tasted fall-flavored with the pumpkin and the cinnamon from the cold foam mixing together perfectly. The drink tasted a lot like the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte and also their Sugar Cookie Latte, but instead of a sugar cookie, it tastes a lot like a snickerdoodle. It tastes like a cookie dipped in coffee. The aftertaste was spot on with the fall flavor, reminding me of the Krusteaz Pumpkin Loaf my mom makes every year. This drink was really good, but I liked the Nutty Pumpkin Iced Coffee more. I’d rate it an 8/10.
Cereal N’ Milk Iced Latte
This drink is a regular latte, but instead of using whole milk, it’s made with Dunkin’s new cereal milk which has a marshmallow flavor to it. I tried this latte with one of my friends, and after my first sip I commented, “I don’t really like it.” I had high hopes after seeing TikToks of people reviewing it and raving over it, but it just wasn’t good. The drink tasted thick, almost hard to get down, as if they mixed marshmallow fluff into the milk. It was similar to the Dunkalatte but a sweeter version. Overall, I’d rate this drink a 2/10– it’s better than the Pumpkin Spice Latte, but I’m disgusted by its thick taste.
Pumpkin Donut
It didn’t look all that appetizing, so I already didn’t have high expectations. The donut tasted a lot like an apple cider donut, but with less spice to it. The donut honestly didn’t taste like pumpkin or anything at all– it kind of just tasted like a cake donut. The donut had a slight cinnamon flavor to it, so that was enjoyable, but if I had to choose between getting the pumpkin donut or any of Dunkin’s other donuts, I’d choose the latter. Overall, I’d rate this donut a 4/10–not my cup of tea.
My final ranking of all the drinks is: The Nutty Pumpkin Iced Coffee, the Pumpkin Sugar Cookie Iced Coffee, the Cereal N’ Milk Latte, and lastly the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte. All of these items will be available until November 9, 2025. If you try out these drinks, make sure to leave a comment or message us on Instagram, and let us know your thoughts
