5. Headbands

Headbands are something that have always been popular throughout all ages of people, but especially recently, and I expect to see more in spring of 2025. Different styles/designs of headbands have also become more popular recently, such as “wave headbands” which comb back your hair out of your face. Overall, headbands are an accessible and easy way to step up an outfit and keep your hair out of your face all spring long.
4. Pastels

While pastel colors have been popular for years, the way they are styled has undergone various changes. Content Creator Layla Blue who recently became popular on TikTok is an avid influencer of pastels and a new style which her viewers call “shabby chic.” Along with pastels, shabby chic includes florals, lace, bows and ruffles. The store Beginning Boutique features pastels in a lot of their clothing such as dresses and tops. Pastels are a cute and comforting way to style spring clothes like pairing them with a light wash jean skirt or linen pants and pastels are overall timeless.
3. Long skirts

Of course, skirts are always a common item to bring out during warm weather, but lengthy skirts that reach your ankles are a cute way to style tank tops and button ups. They also create the illusion of looking taller than you actually are and accentuate your waist. Brandy Melville sells a long white skirt that has become very popular. I think these have become more popular recently and from plain white to colorful designs, they are a timeless and classy piece.
2. Capris

I know when you read that you were either astonished, or immediately uninterested, but capris are making a comeback. As a former capris hater, the way I have seen them styled around SHS and online has completely changed my mindset on them. Originally, capris were a hit in the late 1990s and have faded in and out over time. I love the denim capris style. The store Urban Outfitters has a large capris section , and I have also seen them all over Pinterest. There are multiple ways to style them such as dressing them up with a kitten heel (shorter heel), or they can be an edgy way to bring denim into spring style.
1. Polka dots

Polka dots are typically a classic design, but have always been either loved or hated and recently they have faded in the past few years with the takeover of stripes. Polka dots were originally popular around the 1920s, but have gone in and out of style consistently. However, as polka dots are a fun design that are typically easy to style– such as matching a top with one of the colors in the polka dotted piece. I believe that in spring of 2025, they are making a comeback, and I know it is one we would all like to see.
